Spaten beers

The history of Spaten was born in Munich in 1397 by the brewmaster Hans Welser. Over the course of the following four centuries, Spaten beer flourished and in 1867 became the largest brewery in Munich and, again in the same year, obtained the prestigious gold medal for beer at the Paris World Exhibition.
