Franziskaner Beers
Franziskaner Kellerbier is a typical Bavarian beer that stands out for its qualities. It is naturally cloudy and characterized by an amber color and a velvety and full-bodied taste. The term “Kellerbier” comes from German and literally means “beer from the cellar”. In fact, it is drummed and bottled directly from the storage cellar, without being filtered and maintaining a low carbon dioxide content. This beer is produced according to the Edict of Purity of 1516, which only requires the use of water, barley malt, hops and yeast. Its main ingredient is in fact the yeast, which gives the beer a soft taste, and the selected Hallertau hops, which gives Kellerbier a medium intense and slightly spicy aroma. Franziskaner Kellerbier is a timeless beer pleasure thanks to the artisanal and authentic production method. Its aromas combine perfectly, leaving a fresh, highly digestible sensation on the palate.
