Franziskaner beers

The origins of Franziskaner date back to 1363, the year in which the Master Brewer, Seidel Vaterstetter, was first mentioned as the owner of the “brewery next to the Franciscans”, in the Residenzstrasse in Munich.
The name Franziskaner comes from the Franciscan monastery.
